Sew a Softie for Christmas is a great way to spread the sewing bug.
Way back last July, Sew a Softie Day was inaugurated to inspire parents and grandparents who’d love to sew with their kids and grandkids but just don’t know where to start. You can think of Sew a Softie for Christmas as Chapter Two of this ongoing sewing adventure.
From December 1st-14th simple to sew softie tutorials will be posted online to inspire you to sit down and make your own Christmas softies. Perhaps you’d like to join in and post a tutorial? Softies can be whatever you want: toys, Christmas themed decorations or just something that you yourself associate with the holiday season.
If you want more info, go to the Sew a Softie Facebook Group to find out what to do. And stay tuned: in the next week or so I will be posting a list of all the Sew a Softie for Christmas tutorials and when and where they’ll be appearing.
