Pom Pom Evolution is A Fact

When I was little pom poms were mostly found on the end of your beanie but every now and then we would get all creative and add some wiggly eyes or some big feet to our pom poms and think we were pretty clever…times have changed...I googled pom pom the other day and was amazed to see how sophisticated pom pom creators had become…I still love my 2 little fellas who were made about 15 years ago:

But take a look at what poms poms have become:

  5. Making pom poms was always a fun activity when I was little but it took so long to make the old fashioned way with the 2 circles of cardboard, now with pom pom makers they are quick and easy to make!

  6. I still love making pom poms. When I was in high school, my friend and I sat on the top of the lockers making pom poms to sell to our classmates and teachers. We even made cool stuff like penguins, if I remember correctly! my brother and I had competitions to see who could make the biggest pompoms. My dad cut the templates for us from the lids of icecream containers. My mum made pom pom bird mobiles for babies and sold them at a market. So I guess I have a long and rich history!
