My Swimming Spot
"Once in his life a man...ought to give himself up to a particular landscape in his experience, to look at it from as many angles as he can, to wonder about it, to dwell upon it. He ought to imagine that he touches it with his hands at every season and listens to the sounds that are made upon it...to recollect the glare of the noon and all the colors of the dawn and dusk."

Don't you love being Australian - are these photos to instill jealousy in those thAT are in the depths of winter. The photos show the place so differently it almost don't look like the same location.
that really is one seriously glorious part of our country. we saw 3 gorgeous koalas on our walk the other day. we are so very lucky to live in australia.
happy new year
